Before you start...

Place in front of you the following elements: your new iXoundWear™ cap, your earbuds of choice, your iPod® Shuffle™ 2nd Generation and one of the two wire-spools provided with the cap.

Step 1

Wind up the headset cord around the wire-spool. Give the right earbud wire an additional turn (in order to make it shorter). The length of wire left between the headset plug and the wire spool should be 1" 1/4 (32 mm). The two stretches of wire left between the earpieces and the wire-spool should measure respectively 5" (127 mm) for the right one and 9" (230 mm) for the left one. Your final wire bundle should closely resemble the one illustrated in the following picture.

Step 2

Clip your iPod® Shuffle™ on the player loop.

Step 3

Push the wire bundle inside the wire pocket.
Note: The headset plug should exit the wire pocket from the top.

Step 4

Connect the headset plug to the audio mini-jack at the top of your iPod®.

Step 5

Open the back Velcro® strap. Run the left earbud wire along the strap. Close the strap.

Step 6

Stretch the elastic loop (internally located next to the Velcro® strap) and pass the left earbud through it (the loop supports the wire and makes the left earbud fall next to the left ear).

Step 7

Done! Put it on and plug in your earbuds.
Enjoy your new iXoundWear™ cap.
